July-August 2012

The Art In Sussex County committee is having a show on August 3rd to August 12th at the Sussex County Farm & Horse Show. The exhibit is located in the blue building, which is the Richards Building. I have been invited by the Art in Sussex County committee to exhibit my artwork. I will have a painting in the all new Miniature gallery, as well as the little gallery and two in the main gallery. Please check it out, they always have a beautiful display set up.

Spring 2012 show

Current Spring 2012 shows are scheduled for March 15-18th at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta, NJ. The Springfest. Dollar coupons are available.

and March 31, 2012 from 9-3pm at the Wilkenson Building/Baleville Congregational Christian Church, a vendor and craft fair.

Listing for New Fall Shows

Liza was accepted into the 22nd Annual Art Show and Sale sponsored by the Tewksbury Historical Society. The show date is October 11, 2011 artist reception and awards, and October 12, 2011 to October 16, 2011. The show is located at the Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick, NJ. Liza was also accepted into the 34th Annual Hilltop Country Day School Art Exhibit and Sale on November 4, 2011 to November 6, 2011 in Sparta, NJ. There website is www.hilltopart.com

Fall 2011 Art Shows

On September 23rd, 24th and 25th, The Sussex County Art Society is having there 45th Anniversary Art Show at Lafayette Village in the Village Hall. The Art reception is on Friday the 23rd of September from 6-8 pm and refreshments will be available. For further info contact 973-383-6295.
December 4th and 5th, I will be at the German Market at the Lake Mohawk Country Club. It's a beautiful show and a great place to do some Christmas or Holiday shopping.

9/15/11 Claybord paintings are better for the environment

The use of claybord for my artwork is better for the environment. They are archival, acid free and do not contain formaldehyde.

I am currently not in any shows at the present time because I will be enjoying marital bliss for awhile. Seriously there is a great amount of bliss and with that comes lots of hard work and I will be picking up my paint brush very soon.

I did have a chance to go to Paris for three days, it was short and sweet. If you get the chance go for a week, any time there is worthwhile. I saw the most breathtaking sunset from one of the most beautiful bridges in Paris, the Alexander. This is not the proper name but this is what I call it. Looking at this gave you the most incredible feeling, I have never experienced such joy from only looking at a sunset. We also visited the Louvre, what an incredible palace this was home of one of those Louis.
