St. John on the Mountains' 33rd Annual Art Show

The reception will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 6-8pm.  Tickets can be purchased, telephone # 973-214-7351.  Mountain Art show exhibit dates:  Sat Oct 19 from 10-6pm, Sunday Oct 20 from 12-4pm,  Mon-Thurs Oct 21 from 10-6pm,  Friday Oct 25 from 10-7pm, Sat Oct 26 from 10-4pm and Sunday, October 27 from 12-3pm.

Festival of Art and Wine Tasting Event September 8, 2013

This event was a great idea, and hosted by the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council, Newton, NJ. It is simply a beautiful venue for an art show.  It was located at the The new Lake Mohawk Pool.
I'm already looking forward to exhibiting there again at this beautiful event.

My participation in the Art Association in Roxbury 46th Annual Members' Show resulted in a first place award.  The show took place at the Morris County Library located in Whippany, NJ, August 3, 2013 to August 28, 2013.

The Judge was Kim Eng Yeo.  Thank you so much for the award.

Springfest Flower and Garden Show

Liza J. Smith-Simpson will be exhibiting her artwork at the 2013 Springfest Flower and Garden Show.

The show takes place on March 14, 2013-March 17, 2013 at the Sussex County Fair Grounds in Augusta, NJ.

Juried Show at the Mayo Performing Arts Center

A Juried art work entitled, Sunfllowers no. 1 is on exhibit from March 10, 2013 to April 15, 2013.

Forty pieces of art work have been selected, Liza J. Smith-Simpson's work is among the selection. The show is upstairs at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ.

After handling every aspect from writing ads, sitting at the desk, putting out road signs, reviewing registration forms, cleaning, opening and closing each day, handling mishaps, making phone calls and list went on.  I will be seeking a co-chair buddy next year and man I'm tired.

2012 Autumn Art Shows

Accepted in the Juried Show in Tewksbury, It is the 23rd Tewksbury Historical Society Art Show in Oldwick, New Jersey. The art show and sale start on October 3rd until October 7th. October 4th and 5th they are open from 10-8pm. There phone# is 908-832-6734. Invited to Hilltop Country Day School Art show and I will be exhibiting, the show dates are Friday, Reception 10/12/12 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Saturday 10/13/12, 10-5 pm and Sunday 10/14/12 11-3pm. There website is www.hilltopart.com. The art work on the website doesn't always reflect this years exhibit, some are samples of past art that has been displayed at Hilltop. I also just wrapped up an exhibit with the Sussex County Art Society that I chaired. Pictures to follow.
